Shadow on Concrete Wall

Nature connects us all.
Let's take care of our planet and our people.

What is Intersectional Environmentalism and why is it so important?

"This is an inclusive version of environmentalism that advocates for both the protection of people and the planet. It identifies the ways in which injustices happening to marginalized communities and the earth are interconnected. It brings injustices done to the most vulnerable communities, and the earth, to the forefront and does not minimize or silence social inequality. Intersectional environmentalism advocates for justice for people + the planet."

We have an enormous responsibility as human beings to take care of each other and this planet. There are so many factors that play a role into making the climate crisis what it is today, but colonialism, systemic racism, and capitalism are at the heart of it. The climate crisis is here and people around the world are being disproportionately impacted by it more and more every day. What we do now has an effect beyond our comprehension, and the things that you do can truly make a difference. Although changing your lifestyle is a key component, it's important to realize that a crisis this big cannot be put on the individual level. Get involved, spread awareness, and be an advocate for change. Once we take the time to truly educate ourselves on what's happening to our people and our planet, we should be moved to act as if our house is on fire. Because it is. It takes an open mind and education to acknowledge that there is an existential threat facing humanity and time is one thing that we do not have.

Inner Peaces: this title represents the underlying pieces that are missing from our world right now. There are several worldly issues where we are lacking understanding, empathy, and kindness for one another. These are pieces that will complete our puzzle to bringing a more peaceful life on earth and that should ultimately be our goal.

"We have to recognize that every breath of air we take, every mouthful of food we take, comes from the natural world. And if we damage the natural world, we damage ourselves. We are one coherent ecosystem. It's not just a question of beauty, or interest, or wonder -

The essential ingredient of human life is a healthy planet."

Hi, I’m Grace

I am an intersectional environmentalist and an advocate for spreading more kindness and peace in this world. I believe that for the world to see the social change that we need we have to be at peace with ourselves first. Being at peace with ourselves allows us to see things clearly and from different perspectives. It allows us to be present, live in the moment, and focus on the things that truly matter. I would have never thought that I would be so vocal about these issues, but we don't have time to stay silent. This movement needs everyone that it can get and I hope that I can encourage you to make changes in your life, spread awareness about these important issues and most importantly, find peace within yourself and the world around us.
