Hey, I'm Grace!
I truly appreciate you being here. It means that you have taken a step to learning more about the deeper issues going on in our world.
I hope that this blog helps you gain knowledge and understanding of the pieces that we are missing from our puzzle of creating a more peaceful world. Society has a long way to go and I hope that I can bring some insight and give you resources on ways that we can all make a positive difference for the future.

I think I have always felt really connected with nature; as more people should because nature is literally a part of us. I've always loved being outside in nature and just appreciating how beautiful this world is. It gives me a great sense of peace. I am by no means an expert in environmentalism, but I have done a good amount of research. I still have a long way to go myself, but it's so complex that there is no way that one person can know everything. There is an overwhelming amount of resources and research on this topic. I get a lot of good information about the climate crisis and intersectional environmentalism from social media accounts, articles, documentaries, and YouTube channels. I do my best at living an eco-friendly lifestyle by being a conscious consumer, cutting down on waste and plastic-use, and I have been vegan since January 2021. I try to take small steps every day to transition to a more sustainable life.

To put it lightly, I have a really big heart. Sometimes too big. I feel things strongly and I feel a great deal of empathy for people who are not as privileged as I am. I ultimately crave for this world to have more peace. I wish that people were more understanding and respectful of each other. I believe that all of the issues our world is facing right now come straight down to lacking empathy and kindness. There is an incredible amount of power in kindness and our world and our country definitely needs more of this.

What else about me?
I am passionate about so many things right now that I have so much on my plate, but I honestly love it. On top of my calling that I've felt to start this blog and post about important issues on my social media, I also have many other things that I'm working on. I'm 22 years old and I am about to graduate from nursing school! I have a job lined up to be a Labor and Delivery nurse in Austin, TX and I'm super excited about it. I plan on getting more involved with activism as much as I can. I'm also really passionate about photography and I plan on doing more with that as well. I've been doing photography for over ten years now and it brings me a joy that I can't describe. I'm focusing my photography on portraits, couples, and lifestyle, but I have interests in so many areas that I wish I could do everything! I absolutely love capturing landscape photos. I love that this blog can be an outlet that I can showcase the landscape photos that I've taken over the years.
