Learn more, do better, and spread the word.
These are some my favorite resources and resources that I've heard good things about.
Don't just stop with my blog. There are countless resources out there where you can learn more and educate yourself on so many issues that we are facing. You can contribute to reliable organizations that make a difference. Become a conscious consumer by buying less, saying no to fast fashion, and buying things that are sustainable and that will last. Keep in mind that these are condensed lists and there are so many resources that you could look into, but these are a good start. I hope that these resources also encourage you to learn more about the climate crisis and systemic racism. I really hope that it urges you to change your lifestyle and spread awareness. Spreading awareness is so important. It's like a domino effect. The more exposure that people get, the better off we will be. We don't have the luxury to sit back and stay silent. We have zero excuse not to change our lifestyles and take care of our people and the planet. When finding sustainable companies and organizations, I always check to see if they have a sustainability sections, I check the materials that are used, if they are transparent, if they have carbon neutral shipping and if they are B-Corp certified it is a huge plus.
